Recruitment Authority
The recruitment company applies to the Department of Labour, Nepal, for authorization of the received demand. If the demand’s credibility meets the required standards, the Department of Labour grants permission, confirming that the terms and conditions comply with government regulations. Once the permission is granted, the recruitment company is authorized to advertise the demand in local and national newspapers and initiate the recruitment process.
Selection of Candidates
The company maintains an up-to-date database of potential candidates, complete with detailed information about their skills, qualifications, trade, and experience. Advertisements allow additional candidates to compete for the positions. Shortlisted candidates are then screened, either by the employer, their representative, or the recruitment company on the employer’s behalf. The selection process is conducted purely on merit, ensuring that no biased activities influence the outcome. The company ensures that selected candidates meet the specific requirements set by the employer.
Medical Check-Up
Selected candidates are sent to an authorized hospital or clinic for a comprehensive medical examination to confirm their fitness for employment. Only medically fit candidates are eligible to sign the employment contract. The visa endorsement process is then initiated by the company through the relevant authorities.
Orientation
Finally, selected workers participate in an orientation session designed to familiarize them with the host country’s laws, labor regulations, immigration policies, and workplace expectations. The session also promotes understanding and cooperation among workers. Special emphasis is placed on ensuring that workers strictly adhere to the guidelines and protocols in their designated work environments before their departure.
